Move over Mr Selfridge!

New year, new babies and a new look at our Chorlton pop-up. It's all go at Our Kid and we're hatching plans to make 2015 our most ambitious yet. As last year drew to a close, our pop-up at the Chorlton Art Market Hub really picked up pace and we were dressing local tots in our bestselling Candybow tutus faster than Rudolph on a mince pie high while our signature leggings proved to be the ultimate stocking filler.

It wasn't all happy families as it emerged a big chunk of our most expensive pieces had been shoplifted the week before Christmas. It's hard not to get emotional about this kind of setback. The 3 of us work really hard under massive time constraints to keep the business running so when someone just helps themselves to our treasure it does smart a little.

Not wanting to dwell on the negative, it's time to say HUGE thanks to Alice and her amazing team as they really helped us to sell Our Kid to the people of Chorlton while we just about managed to keep the rails stocked as we navigated the early weeks of our precious little bundles (more about them in a separate post).

Our retail emporium is now residing in a bright new corner spot and is brimming with goodies and some mega bargains for the eagle eyed. We've knocked 20% off all seasonal stock and left a rummage box full of £3 bargains.
