When I first moved up from London, Oranges&Lemons playgroup at St Clements Church was my first taste of the Chorlton baby scene and it was thriving! Some weeks you couldn't move for marauding babies and dancing toddlers while mums and carers chatted with friendly ease.

But recently numbers have dwindled. So much so that the Vicar and his volunteers have considered calling it a day. When we heard this we couldn't sit back and do nothing! So we pledged to mobilise our mummy and daddy followers to try and bring a few new faces through the door and who knows...maybe attract a whole new generation of playgroup regulars with the promise of hot tea, homemade cakes and bargains to boot!

Our Kid will join forces with Oranges&Lemons at St Clements Church to host an amazing Spring Clearance Sale on Monday 14th March from 10-12pm.We'll be selling loads of amazing British and independent clothing collections at crazy low prices alongside some of our favourite new pieces from our little bit of shop within the Chorlton Art Market.

Admission is free! And you will get to experience the playgroup in its usual lovely format which includes free refreshments for kids, hot tea and coffee for grown-ups and a cute nursery rhyme sing-a-long to wrap up the session. For one week only we will bring along some home-baked goods and bargains to fuel the fun!
